Re: Finally my own build thread!
interesting rear section on the truck, looks killer. does it ride well in the rear with shockwaves at that angle, looks like the oil would be in the wrong spot with them inverted like that. kinda kool that you can run them that way. keep it up, looks killer.

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Hey guys! Sorry for not getting back or updating the thread. I have been working like crazy with my new business and haven't had a single second to work on the truck. Infact i am debating on selling the truck because i don't have any time anymore. Nothing new has happened on the truck which kills me to say. I fell like i have failed but i need to keep food on the table first then i can play.
Another note. I am going to be selling my wheels and tires off my truck. I need to buy a large format printer for my business. Everything is brand new never driven. $3k for the wheels and tires. Pm me for details or call me on my cell 805-610-5327 Thanks guys for all the kind words!!!!!! Josh

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Starting to seem like everybody that I'm subscribed to is selling their projects.. well the most awesome ones at least! I totally understand the business part and it will pay off I'm sure! I would love your wheels but I would first need to sell mine and still wouldn't have enough money right now...

Thanks but i am actually looking at a cannon printer. I know your thinking cannon but there new aqueous printer is amazing and pretty inexpensive. The cannon ipf8300 is supposed to be one of the best aqueous printers out there. I have a roland vp-540 solvent printer but i have had alot of people ask for canvas prints so i want to tap into that market. Nice printers though! Josh

Re: Finally my own build thread!
And I was just thinking about your truck the other day! I was hoping to see you finish the thing, but the last I saw it you had just moved to your new location & figured you had been busy. Anyways, family comes first (that's why I sold N2Deep) & you can always build another one. Good luck!!

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Hi everyone! I wanted to post that i am moving out of our current shop in a couple weeks and don't want to move my truck and all the parts if possible so i am discounting the truck to the first person who acts on it. Price was $11,500 but i am willing to do $10,000 if someone is able to come and get it before we move. I have had alot of action on the truck so far so i am assuming it will probably go pretty fast. There is over 13k in parts alone not including the frame so this is a steal. Please call me at 805-610-5327 for any questions. Here is the link to my for sale ad.

Re: Finally my own build thread!
WOW!..... just read this straight thru. Get to this page and my heart just sunk. What a shame. Seeing someone put so much time, energy, and $$$ into a project just to put it up for sale and not finish it. Makes me second guess even starting one.

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Thanks everyone. I know it is hard to admit that i am not going to be able to finish it. I did it wrong though. I was funding the project as i went instead of having all the money ready which slowed me down. Second thing i did wrong was buy a business and thinking i was still going to have time to build my ride with 2 businesses. That was my biggest mistake cause i don't have any time anymore. Hopefully someone on this board will buy the truck and finish it so we all can see how it looks when completed.
Josh

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Thanks boonedogs. It really is. I had someone call me and talk to me about the truck and they told me that they priced out all the parts and also what it would cost for a shop to build the frame, headers, exhaust, all the sheetmetal in the bed and he figured it was a little over 20k. His wife wouldn't let him buy the truck otherwise it would have been sold a while ago. I have had a few people call since i dropped the price but no one has acted on it yet. So i wanted to let people know that i still have it. Thanks
Josh

Re: Finally my own build thread!
everyone is kindah hurting for cash at the moment with the economy the way it is i guess
i think it would sell way eazier if it was driveable (not everyone can see the truck through the parts), it would apeal to a bigger audience , no need for paint just a groundcoat (that way they can choose the colour ) but it needs to be put together and driving jou would win more cash than you need to invest in the truck to get it in driveable condition and who knows you might get more work / cash and decide to finish it for youreself

Re: Finally my own build thread!
