ok guys i got more work done the last two days i started to tack weld my bag mounts in place where im gonna run them i need to weld some supports infront of my notch that way i can reenfoce the upper mount i also cut off the old driveshaft hoop and replaced it with one i recently made here are some pics....

i went ahead and supported the truck on jackstands so i can pull the axle from under there so i can start building my back half and started to weld everything really good i also welded the upper bag mounts supports and made some upper shock mount tabs and welded them in place..... more pics.

ok so more work done in the last two days....... i started to get rid of the rear leafspring hangers support grinded all the rivet heads down and punched them out and i also moved the the bracket/xmember that was behind the notch so i can make some room for the gas tank here are some pics...

i had some pieces of angle style metal so i made some brackets to mount my air tank.... i also cut a couple more brackets to add more strengh to the upper mounts... more pics.

thanks..... if i didnt have my panhard bar attached to the frame behing the notch i would have fit.... im changing too many things already so i didnt want to go the route of relocating the panhard bar or getting rid of it..... i did this on 77 and it worked pretty good for me..... because the size of my air tank it does not fit under the cab like the slim one do im gonna put it between my gas tank and the notch....
