What are you using to hook up the shift linkage? I assume the factory stuff will not clear those headers. Thanks

I have a LOKAR setup that I'm probably going to use. I also have the factory cable setup from the 4L60E that I could also use.

It will be in my buddy's shop while he's finishing the paint. If he gets it done by Christmas I may drag it out here......

Did you weld a plate to the firewall first? I ask because I was trying to figure out how to mount mine. I considered just straightening the 'arm' and mounting it in the stock location, but I think I like your install better.

Thanks!!

I welded a 1/4" plate to the firewall. That allowed me to install it in more of a factory location. Make sure you drill and tap the plate for your mounting bolts prior to welding it in.

Thanks Joe. I've been following your CrewCab thread and it's turning out really nice. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person sometime next year, .

Looks very nice in red!! Going to be a sweet burb. Didn't know there was a stick on trim kit. Can't wait to see how that turns out. I am sure it will be nice.

That's correct. After discussing it with my painter buddy, we decided that would be the easiest way to do it. I'm pretty sure that's how the factory did it also.
