Wire wheeling, scraping has been my business lately.
Got the frame mostly clean going over it with one of those paint stripper wheels and sanding to get clean metal. Doing it a section at a time so i can prime it before it has time to rust. Having it sandblasted would have been smarter. lol  Also patched a piece of the frame where to p.o. done something torched it beat it something where the auto trans cross member bolts up. I also cut out the left over manual trans cross member ends they didn't remove.

Small update. I finally got the frame cleaned all the way and primed. Working on cleaning the front suspension parts now. In the what was i thinking...
 I seen the dust shield had some rust holes in it so i decided to make me some patch panels for it. It actually turned out pretty good was kinda a pain though. A little dolly and hammer work and it will be ready to clean up.

After the work above on the dust shields i'm getting new. While cleaning them i found more holes. Sometimes i work harder than worth it to save a dime.
 But anyways i have been busy cleaning the rest of the parts for the suspension/frame. All primed up and ready for warm weather to spray some paint.

I missed one of the front springs while I was cleaning parts. So I cleaned it and got it primed. Got pass. side a -arms , spring, spindle, bump stop installed.

Driver side suspension installed, installed new dust shields ( sorry blurry pic). Installed rotors and painted calipers.

Rear shocks installed look good with the shock relocaters, also rear wheels got a rear roller lol. Put the tires on moving dollies for easy moveing. Picture of spare tire winch crossmember I built installed.Frame is little dusty been doing some wood work.

When to install my spare tire winch and it doesn't' fit.
I must have not checked when i welded in the two middle cross pieces so i had to remove it and cut out the angles. This time i made sure it fit before and after welding i also just used a straight piece instead of the angles looks better to me. Got it painted and ready to install.

Painted the sway bar and the brackets. Worked on removing the rivets to bolt the brackets in place loosely.

Sway bar is installed, re-installed my spare tire winch mount and installed the winch. Fits great now, brake lines are probably next.

Brake lines installed, bought lines for disk brake truck so had to move the bracket for the rubber lines where they meet the hard line. Still need some tweaking, but fit pretty good.

Started on the cab removed the front and back glass. Thankfully it looks solid, a small spot near the top. Near the same spot where there some pinhole rust spots in the cab.

Removed the gas tank,before the fireworks started lol. Cut out the spot where the pinholes were and started a patch. Still some tacking grinding to do. Not the most comfortable area to be working I'm a big guy so called it a day enjoyed outside with the kids.

Upper patches are done, the kick panel had some spots in it so i cut a section out and cut and fitted a patch for it out of replacement one. Passenger side needs done too. The previous owner had the rockers etc done don't know, why they left these. Fixing best way I can.

While grinding the patch for the passenger kick panel, the grinder hit the floor and and knocked the paint off . I then noticed it wasn't metal under there but I hit bondo lol. So poked around found several thin spots while I'm here got to patch the floor.
