Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Loaded heavy to the rear to help with trailer angle. Ball is in bumper, so no drop hitch. Previous owner installed ball although it has a 2" receiver welded right under. I can't get a wrench on the ball's nut and haven't taken on the task of carefully cutting it away. Not going to e fun. Don't want to hurt that Bartens bumper

BTW, the truck loved it! Kept on thanking me, even over two mountains. The whole run was a gradual climb, basically. These trucks were born to haul!

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

It was pure heaven running up to Carlisle with this pair of rides. One '67, one '72, one 1/2t panel, one 3/4t pickup, One Chevy, One GMC, both 4wd, both white. Was also cool with both on our spot at the show. Both slept in the back. That show is one of the high points of my year! A great time

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

My truck looked good up to a year ago when I discovered previous owned had stuffed doors with home insulation...could have just stuffed them with sponges to hold the water in.

My bed is missing 2 cross members and isn't attached very well, so I didn't go far. It does the work I need it to do on weekends.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

That's great man. I love stepsides and especially love stepsides with the spare tire where it fits the best.

Seriously, I wish trucks still had the spare on the side....so much easier to clean and get to.
