Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

That is funny!.. Are you planning on lowering your truck a li-bit more? What is the offset of your rear wheels? I dont think a 295 would rub with a 7-8 inch rear drop... That also depends on your rear wheel offset of course...

Juanito I am planning on slamming it without having to take the inner fenders off....Giving air ride serious consideration just being cheap $$$ and lazy

Once I pull the trigger whenever that is the wheels are going bye bye and I am putting new wheels 20/22's will see. I have been itching for something else like a 69-72 camaro being that my brother in law and my best friends have serious camaros I kind of been wanting to jump on the band wagon.;..

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Hi Al. I've poured over your entire thread so far and your truck is simply beautiful. I have a question though, how well does your truck brake with the manual setup? I have just purchased a disc brake conversion for my 69, but don't have any experience with manual disc/drum combo. Again, great looking truck!

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

The manual brakes work perfect but you have to really push the pedal when needed. I really like the clean look of not having a booster. Thanks for the compliment on my bucket. Any questions just ask away...
