I've had Rotts most my life. I've only have one live to be a gray face. My last two both died at 6. Every one had cancer. Maybe I'll get a Pit this time. I can seem to be without a dog. I have my own bussiness so they come to work with me every day. My dog has ten times as many hours sitting in my truck as I do and god help anybody that walks near it.

Re: Daverods project 66

Sorry to hear about your dog. We had to give up one of ours bc she was viscously attacking our other dog. One of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. Now back to the trucks. Stop the rust and they will outlive all of us!

Re: Daverods project 66

Very sorry to hear about your dog. My wife and I have been doing Rottweiler rescue for about 10 years now. We lost two to bone cancer this year. The first was our first dog together. We caught it very early and lucked out. Her right front leg was amputated and we did Chemo. We got another year and a half. The second boy, it was about 2 months from when it was diagnosed to when we had to put him to sleep. He was not a canidate for the amputation.

Our friend's girl just had an amputation because of cancer, less then a month ago and lost her last week.

The one thing I can say is that bone cancer is very painful for the dog, and spreads quickly.

Euthanasia is never an easy decision. I have been through it too many times. I know what you are going through right now.

They have this posted:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey everyone,

I have had to temporarily disable attachments while migrating to a new server. This should be solved by the end of the month and probably sooner. You may see some other features come and go at random but rest assured the site will eb back at full functionality and capabilities soon. Hell, I'll have my truck done by then.

Do it this way Right click on the picture properties is at the bottom, select all , then copy the address and paste between the two img things.

Atta boy Dave.
It was easy now that you know. But I don't have to do it that way. I still have the icon. I don't know why a lot of people don't.
