Very excited to see it underway. As soon as I get the Tahoe done and we finish the Divco done,mine goes back under the knife. I have some pretty interesting ideas.

Looks like when it was repainted, whenever that was, their prep was not done proper because all the seams and joints are cracked, and you know what happens then, yellow and rust stains dont go well together. Im not really to worried about the paint, as I paint everything myself anyways. There are a couple patch panels that are going to have to be redone, big laps, and of course Im really wanting to do the early front clip and early lower mouldings, SOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I think a paint job is in its future.

I really have grown to like the butternut yellow, so my gut says to go back that way and maybe do a cast grey on the inside, cause I really leaning on the 59 Impala dash with a little twist to it.

We will see what happens, Im just glad that its in the working garage now, like it should have been years ago.

BTW any ideas are welcome Gringo, or anyone else that has been following this for the last 6 years.

I like your color choices, for sure! I tossed around doing the early clip, too. They look great with the early trim and I always planned on grey guts. I'm excited to see this one getting done! Can't wait 'til I get back and can start ruining another

LOL Life's been getting in the way. Still in the country other than the yearly SEMA trip. Not on the forums much anymore, too much facebook.Had to check it out though this build interests me. Sweet truck and close to home. Look forward to seeing some pics.

I will be unloading some rear suspension stuff, of course new or made new. Escalade front seats and matching 3rd row leather, gauges, door panels and a pile of nos stuff that I have hoarded over the years of the "blimmy" and now Loiuse. Either of you in the north need stuff, I probably have a couple.

The Divco belongs to Jus Cuz Customs. It's a full custom build and bagged. The interior panels are all going to be painted at SEMA, a whole bunch of the big names in paint will be there painting them.
Mike Learn, Nub and Steve Deman are coming up in July to help paint the outside.

Ya, but I think Im going to c-notch the step notch, need a few more inches to be able to tuck things in... Shocks were holding up the front front touching, so they will get some attention too. I need some weight on the front, the RE 7s are too stiff, keep springing up!

Yeah, but I still like the way it sat with that little notch. For a daily driver that may be low enough for me.

Its not going to be a daily, and my opinion is if the front can go down that far, so should the rear.

Only a little work, Plasma will be seconds, plus I need to do some captured nuts for the rear bridge for the 4 link

Engine sits too low, balancer hits the rack, going to have to remake the stands.. Nathan says they are for a SBC, and they probably would not be wise to crank up the BBC anyways..

Get ready to modify your firewall. I am going through this now. Drivers side V.C. will only be about 1/4-3/8 of an inch from the firewall and the distributor will be an issue as well.
