Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!
This is my truck (before and after) I built while I was in High School. Just learned what to do while I was building it. Had to work 40 hours a week while still going to school to be able to build it. I ended up putting torque thrust 2's on it and a 502 in it. Sold it for a woman to get married. Now the woman's gone and so is the truck. Went to Mexico. I hope some of you younger kids can learn from my mistake.

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!
Completely restored my 69' while I was in high school and drove a 1972 Sierra Grande 2500 with a 402 to school everyday! Except for winter.
Got my 69' Stepside in 2007 as this: Drove it to graduation in 2009 after restoration like this:

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!
I'm a sophmore and I bought this one in September. It has a 350 with a three speed auto, but is not the oldest car out of my friends. Haha, I have a friend with a 1962 Ford Ranchero.

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!
I've got the oldest loudest one of the fastest and most noticeable vehicle in the school. Lol after school is out I like to show off and get a little sideways in it. Lots of kids from school try to race me in their chargers beamers and ricers but I burn them all the time lol

Wow! Very nice truck. My county won't allow shop classes to work on cars anymore, they haven't for about 20 years now, talk about stupid.

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!
I pulled this one out of a barn at the end of my sophomore year, i was 16. Junior year i drove it to school like this..
Then i pulled it apart over the summer and did all the bodywork, drop, paint and transmission myself, First day of school my senior year I pulled up in this...
