I'm right at that point where I can install that FlatOut crossmember, but I saw that you used the factory vette one... how easy was that to work with? I have one that came with the front suspension, but I ordered the Flatout for fear of complexity and subsequent downtime.

Go with the flat out crossmember. I built my frame based off of factory specs and the cradle is about an inch narrower on each side. We put spaces in to fill the gap but by doing this the control arms and everything and pulled in an inch. Plus the install will be a lot easier.
