Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
Hey just wondering if using a standard third door and flipping the glass be any easier than building a door from scratch? Just thinking out loud.
You are doing amazing work. I can't wait to see the end project

im going to reuse the main glass that came in the fake door but the stationary glass will need to be custom cut on both sides because the back of the door is round at the top not square they are just panel clips I got them at harbor freight |

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
Had a little time today so I worked on finising up the upper jamb above 4th door. Had a buddy bend a peice of 16ga to match the shape of the truck cab.
did not get it finished but it tacked in will finish up tomorrow. |

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
Thanks guys! Not much done on the truck lately just some small detail stuff.
But I did pick up a extra 3rd door, I need the door lock linkage out of it for the 4th door. Also picked up another passenger door just because it was a good deal. |

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
thanks! I hope to get some more done this weekend I'm getting close to finishing up the fourth door. I'm approaching the one year mark on this build,
I hoped to have the cab done by now but I'm happy with my progress so far. I have a lot of days off coming up so maybe by the first of the year? |

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
finished up some details on the 4th door at the rear the shape is a little different so I grafted in a section from the fake door. This is where the little stationary window goes. also welded up the cut I made to reshape the door and I welded up the door lock hole.
