Excellent job! You did the repairs right too, no corner cutting. It should be good to go for another 40 years

Looking at your avatar, it doesn't look like it is much of a question for you.

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Wow! That particularness you speak of really pays dividends in everything you show on this forum. You make it look so easy and so well done, it makes me want to try it myself and I hate bodywork! maybe I should get the truck back together and running first...
Awesome work!!!

I say leave it the same height and add some wide TSL boggers.

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Yes, yes it would. I've also been tossing around the idea again of selling it... I could use a decent daily, the C10 needs an LS/TKO, and my wife wants a 67-68 fastback

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Thanks! My truck needs some TLC in the form of suspension/drivetrain, then it's on to my wife's dream F*rd. The rust repair on this will pale in comparison to a '60s Muskrat...

Sucks your putting it up for sale but I can understand. You should try listing it on ksl.

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Have you ever dealt with most people on ksl!!? They just want to waste your time, and then scam you! Personally, that would be my last option

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Yeah I've dealt with my fair share of scammers from ksl. But like most classifieds sites you just have to sort through the B/S.

Congrats on the sale Chris, I know it was probably tough to part with but now you have more play money for the C10

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Thanks everyone. She's off to The Houston area, not sure if he's a member, but I didn't advertise anywhere else. Bitter-sweet for sure, but now I have some funds to throw at the truck, and the wife's 67 fastback is closer to a reality (maybe can even buy a decent one I don't have to completely re-do )
