Excellent job! You did the repairs right too, no corner cutting. It should be good to go for another 40 years

Thanks again! Hopefully it stays good for a while... I'll try not to drive it on salty roads, which I'm pretty sure is what caused the minor rot on this one. Shame too, 'cause it is so solid/shiny everywhere else.

Now, what to do next, lift or lower?

Looking at your avatar, it doesn't look like it is much of a question for you.

Wow! That particularness you speak of really pays dividends in everything you show on this forum. You make it look so easy and so well done, it makes me want to try it myself and I hate bodywork! maybe I should get the truck back together and running first...

Awesome work!!!

I say leave it the same height and add some wide TSL boggers.

That pic is from a series of renders I had done by hellaflush3d to help me decide. It didn't help , but I do like the 'squished' version he did...

Thanks! Not a big fan, myself. Rust repair is torture. My wife wants a '67 Mustang fastback, so there's more in my future

I'm thinking 2.5" Deavers/Bilsteins, white 17x9 vintiques smoothies/dog dishes, with 285/70 bfg A/Ts. It looks/rides good in my mind...

Yes, yes it would. I've also been tossing around the idea again of selling it... I could use a decent daily, the C10 needs an LS/TKO, and my wife wants a 67-68 fastback

Thanks! My truck needs some TLC in the form of suspension/drivetrain, then it's on to my wife's dream F*rd. The rust repair on this will pale in comparison to a '60s Muskrat...

Sucks your putting it up for sale but I can understand. You should try listing it on ksl.

Yeah, I'm a little (a lot) torn. Ksl is next--I wanted to give the folks here first crack at it.

Have you ever dealt with most people on ksl!!? They just want to waste your time, and then scam you! Personally, that would be my last option

Yeah I've dealt with my fair share of scammers from ksl. But like most classifieds sites you just have to sort through the B/S.

Sad day. I almost cry everytime I release a prided. Ehicle back
Into the world. All you can hope for is that someday you will see it again and still
In as good a shape as it left you.

Thanks everyone. She's off to The Houston area, not sure if he's a member, but I didn't advertise anywhere else. Bitter-sweet for sure, but now I have some funds to throw at the truck, and the wife's 67 fastback is closer to a reality (maybe can even buy a decent one I don't have to completely re-do )
