Chassis is looking really good! Good luck with the move and being with family to watch them grow...priceless. 500k junk residences...ouch. We've been fortunate to stay here where we are. I don't know that there are any houses that expensive around here.

I have truck, suspension sheet metal all my sh!t in four storage units. I break ground for my detached puggy double car garage, as soon as the weather breaks. As of this minute out side "it's clear and still" (meaning: clear up to my azz and still snowing, and -4 . There is 18" on the flat in my back yard.
Enough of me winnnnnnnnning,

Know this "I know just how you feel" paid a mover 16K to move all my sh!t from Heber Utah to Clear and Still Idaho. So pard I figure I'm about 2/3 through, this adventure won't be feeling settled until the Puggy Garage is completed and the tools are in there new home.

You'll find the best place, but you need to sift alot of manure to find the golden key..

NC- I was just in Boise about 2 weeks ago, I guess they got a 'bit' of snow too! it was pretty dang cold, then I spent most of last week in CHI and PITT ---- Um , you guys have it easy in comparison -

and I thought 35 degrees here was cold! --- I was working on the cab yesterday in a t-shirt and working up a sweat in 45 degree weather!!!!

I really like this build. I love the 55-59 trucks, and I'm a hardcore drag racer so this one is right up my alley. Can't wait to see it finished.
Have you ran the engine with the procharger yet? My gawd a procharged engine sounds nasty, especially on the burn-out!

Not yet Im wating for my trans to show up and get the drive train installed. Then a start up video will be coming soon. Just want to get some fluids in it and get it running!

A video won't do it any justice! Looking forward to it just the same though.
Need to get my Mustang back out. Torched a head gasket. Got a little lazy on my maintenance. Needs fresh head gaskets and retorque periodically. Been together 3-4 years. Needs head and deck repaired, plus new gaskets now.

Well I just couldn't wait for the trans and converter and all these people to figure out what I need .... So I got the motor in by itself yesterday and I am going to start getting it all together.

Its fallen and cant get up!!!!!!


Got the cab bottom all scraped, sand blasted, cleaned, primered and Rubberized Undercoated, so it will be ready to go onto the frame next weekend IF THE DAMN TRANNY SHOWS UP!!!!!!

IF it doesnt Im gonna tell the guy he owes me $500 for the tranny case and its now his - Im going to buy a built one from Summit and have it in 2 days with free shipping. This is BS!!!!


On another note - we are making an offer on a house close by on 2 acres, place needs a little TLC but nothing major except a COMPLETE NEW SHOP!!!!! YEAH BABY!!!! Hope it pans out -

A little more engine porn for you guys????

I got the carb and supercharger discharge piping all installed with the blow-off valve with new 3.5" alum tubing and silicone sleeves.

I have another piece of polished tube I could use to connect it all with the valve manifold instead of that red piece.... but I would have to get it all tig-welded together... it would also only be 2 silicone connectors then too. what do you guys think?

thanks guys for comments, yep decided to go with the polished tube, just couldnt live with that red thang! - my welder friend saw the pic on FB and said the same thing --- hes welding it up now!

Got the transmission and the converter completed. The converter was done by a local guy here that is awesome and does great work. DONT WASTE your money on all these high dollar junk converters out there.... let me know if you want his contact info.

The driveline is being built with a 3 1/2" tube and a billet steel yoke recommended by the builder to handle the torque of this motor/trans set. all spicer 1350 size u joints. should be nice!

Ok guys -quicky update; the motor is all in and together with the trans and converter, all the fuel, oil, P/S, H20 lines are connected to it and I have even wired up a temp starter panel to get ready to fire this thing up. At this point its ready to run, just waiting on some headers to get re-shaped and then installed and we can make some noise!

Got the S/C tubing completed with the pop-off valve manifold replaced into it and then polished up. The P//S pump and Alternator are all custom installed to line up with the crank pulley system, and the radiator hoses are also custom twisted and turned to meet up with their points of connection.

Radiator and fans installed - had to go on the front as there was no room in the back. Hopefully it works just as well.






The intake side of it all - this will be tubed up to the back of the engine compartment with a large K&N filter and fresh air box around it.



The temp starter station..... power, fuel, ignition, blastoff!
