Re: Sideways Saturday
Sorry to hear that HO.
My '67 K/10 Sub has been awaiting maintainence since '99. Carb caught fire when I was in Cali. Towed it back to Tucson and by now it needs everything.

Yeah, Tucson is where the Air Force parks its mothballed planes, so rust monsters are well away. Packrats have packed the engine bay. The cabin is rat-free, but I've been stuffing anything long and flat that I thought needed keeping in the back, so it would be a big project. New engine, transmission/ transfer case, rear-end, front axle conversion to Disc Brake + Power Steering, new wheels and tires, interior sests, panelling. I want a flush-folding 40/60 second seat. Maybe electric drive for windows 3 and 4. Fronts are fine with cranks. Not too many dings in the body. 454 core - not rebuilding a BBC w/ $3.31/Gal gas. The 12 Bolt 3.73 Auburn Posi rear, is currently under my '71 GMC Jimmy. Not sure what engine? A Lump-Ported 292 L6 bored to 301'', with Turbo is the dream. A crate 350 would get it rolling. It's resting on the GMC's diff, an Eaton posi that I blew up. Dreams are free, reality costs more that it looks.
