Installed my LMC rear mount tank today. I had to recess the top 1 1/4" for the Tanks Inc PA pump fittings to clear the bed. I'll install the pump tomorrow and should be ready to fire up my LT1.

Thanks, I used colorbond paint 68 bright blue. Stuff works really good.

Put rebuilt carb on, pulled the seat and gas tank and dumped the 5+ year old gas out. The gas looked and smelled more like diesel than gasoline. Hope to get it back together and try to start it next weekend.

Yesterday took advantage of the unseasonable weather to paint my new steelies glossy white and install the new (and newly painted) script valve cover.

Today, put fresh fluids in the new I6 and working on hooking up the carb linkages and fuel supply from pump to carburetor. After that I have to hang the new exhaust and the drivetrain work is done. I think.

On to body and bed floor after that.

1. I took out some trashed 6x9 that where cut into the door panels (going to be replaced anyways) painted them black just because and added a 1 off custom high speed cup holder.

2. Slaped a MDF wooden box toget her to add radio so I wouldnt have to cut my dash (temp fix), found the shift knob at Walmart thought it was kinda cool and better looking than the broken $x$ knob that I had.
