That low bed mount spare tire is a real good idea. I like it. How is it working out underneath? That must be a long bed.

Thanks it's a long bed. I've done a lot of mods to make it work my bed is custom to start with. All the parts are drying now tomorrow it will be installed.

Wheel tub in and it looks great, like it was meant to be there. The bottom of the tub is about an 1 1/2" above the fender side and the tire is an inch below the top.

That is pretty trick. I especially like that you did that with the wood bed and making the custom look almost stock in appearance.

Thumbs up Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

3 year old water pump failed. Replaced it with a new one from O-Rielly's. New thermistat and hoses.
I also polished under the hood.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Finished up my oil pressure line tonight. A big shout out to members LockDoc (for the line kit and needed adapter) and TBONE1964 (for an excellent working replacement oil pressure gauge). Everything went together easy and fixed a small oil leak in the process. So nice to get the stock gauges working and and being able to pull out the cheap three gauge under dash panel. Pic is oil gauge at idle.

Installed 2in drop spindles. Now the front is at 5. Gotta put on the c notch to go to 7 on rear. Although I knew the 45 series was too tall I barely got it home lol. Will be looking for some 40 series tires.

I also used Harbor Freight's disposable spray gun. $9.99 and you don't have to waste time trying to maybe get the epoxy out of it. I removed the air fitting and it went straight in the trash.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I changed the earl & filter in mine. And I did the same for the other 2 in the fleet as well. That's a lot of lubrication to take back to be recycled.
