Truck looks great!

Only thing I would do is paint the rear drums black. They kind of take away from the wheel and almost look like those dust covers donk owners put on their cars.

I've had this truck for 10 years and won alot of trophies back in the day. It's either time to sell her or redo her.

Well now I know what my truck would look like with black rims and bags. Those are the exact rims I was going to get. Looks good.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Crazyed love the 83, looks aggressive even without the motor, great color choice. Had a few questions about the stance. Looking to lower my 86 and your sitting about where id like to be, just wondering what the drop is and what's under it? Would appreciate any info you could give, thanks

MDc10 thanks for the love man. the drop is just a flip kit in the rear and then i started with 3" drop spindles with stock springs. i then found a set of drop springs on craigslist. the guy told me they were 3" drop springs. when i put them in it dropped the front another 4-4.5"s. here is a pic with the drop spindles and stock springs.

and heres a pic with the drop spindles and drop springs

the wheels in the these pics were 17s but im running 20x8s now with 245/40/20 yokohama S.Drives

No sir the inner fenders are still in the truck. That was one question I did have since I am going big block if I needed to remove them cause I am so low with no motor but I was told the drop springs are tempered different than stock springs and they don't sag I will only see about a half inch of drop. Not sure. I guess I will find out when the time comes.
