Nice job on the fuel line. Those valve covers are pretty slick, have to check them out for another project of mine.

Pulled the cab back off in order to get some body work done easier, and to pull the TCM in order to send it off to be programmed.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I put in one of those cheap Chinese cardboard glove boxes that about half way fit. What a pain in the rear. Anyway after trimming and fighting it, I have a functional glove box. I need to update my build thread with some photos of the new parts.

Very nice! I spent only 10 mins on the '70 today, new highbeam switch. That's it.

Spent some quality time with a scraper and The saginaw I pulled out last weekend. Must have scraped off 3 pounds of a gross mixture of oil, grease and dirt. Tonight or tomorrow I will start disassembling it on my work bench.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I installed my new gas tank, pulled the seat and floor mat out and started cutting rust out of the floor and rockers. I definitely made more work than I did.

I got mine back from the body shop. New rockers, cab corners, floor patches. Then I drove it like I stole it.
He has had it for almost a month.

The seat covers are from Ricks Custom Upholstery

On a separate note, today I installed a jackrabbit original tunneau cover - love the way it looks!

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Installed new springs for the rear brakes. Also installed the e-brake cables. Are theses routed correctly and my cable is too long. If I cut it what should I block the end off with?

In looking at your pics the cable should be running through the outer hole on the cross member, the one with the plastic gromit in it , then up to the curled wire hanger in the frame and then to the back down the other side the same ending at the other bracket that connects the two rear cables. That routing may shorten the cable enough. Hope this helps.
