Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Now, I don't know if this truck has been posted or not, but me and my dad met this guy the other night. Guy's name is Paul, truck is an '82 Silverado. Four-Wheeler Mag website says he got it in '88, he said '87. Anyway, this thing is one bad ass truck. He's got about a 12-inch lift, and the engine is from a '65 Vette.

He said he's 43 now, and has been working on this I think he said since we was 19. Was originally a 6.2 Diesel. Lol

Yup. It now has a blazer gas tank and filler neck/ fuel door in it and deleted the old fuel door down low. Wasn't a fan of the side saddle tanks.

Thats a stock GMC/Chevy Steering wheel with the top and bottom cut off. I know because my GMC Safari had the same steering wheel and I thought about cutting it like that.

That blue 4x4 has been built for about 8 years, I have the Four Wheeler mag that those pics are from and it is from 2004. They named the truck Stump Jumper, it is 6' suspension and 3' body lift and 39.5 Boggers.

We met the guy last week because we were buying a Jeep from him. He used to be a motocross racer until he destroyed his knee. 75% or his left knee is metal. I'm surprised he doesn't walk with a cane. But that truck, is damn gorgeous. I don't know how much he's done since that issue was published, but he said it's got about 12 inches of lift now.
