When I purchased the truck it had belltech drop spindle With cut springs which I replaced because the were cut to short and then cut the new ones. The rear has the Beltech flip kit. I started a thread on the truck.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

My newest project. What color and how big a lift. That is the question.
Specs are 454, turbo 400 np 205 twin stick, Dana 60 front and corp 14. lots of surface rust and not sure on the rockers but, the bed will get replaced. its not original anyways.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Does anybody know the biggest tire size these old 1 tons can handle at stock height? Could it fit 35's possibly with a t-bar crank? Just looking for some input... I'd like to have more of a "stuffed" look to fill up most of the wheel wells.

cant crank on these is a leaf sprung truck in the front. if you lift you use new springs or lift blocks. you can run a 285/75 16 at stock height. equals a 33.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

What's the smallest lift to be able to fit 35" tires? A body or suspension lift?

These are some great scores on Craigslist! What are you guys typing in the search bar to find them?

You don't need a lift for 35's. Just a little fender trimming.
