Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Hey 54 Caddy
I have a good mate who lives in Visalia who collects them for me.
i spotted the yellow one going down lovers lane in Visalia and followed him till he stopped then made an offer.
I will be back in Visalia mid year and will be on the hunt for some more

Cheers Peter

Just picked up a 79 for $800.00. Drove it home, just needs to be cleaned up.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

I like the older style head light bezels. Was never a fan of the '79 that goes around the blinker light. Wish I could find a '70's square that clean for under a grand. I hate livin' in the salt belt.

I didn't like the 79' and 80' for that same reason.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Guess I should share a few photos of this one. But I hope to not have her long, she is up for sale. Although, I am thinking about ripping out that beast of a motor for my Blazer. (and yeah, it is in the classified ad section)

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Before

Now

My 76 C15, paid $800 and drove it home. 350 4brl, turbo 350, 12 bolt rear. Seat recently redone and the A/C even works. Only things that don't work is the clock, cruise control and the washer pump.

I want to change the mirrors, get some chrome center caps, rear sport bumper and lower it a little bit. Install headers and dual exhaust, thinking 2 1/2 exiting out in front of the rear tires. Have an older Weind dual plane manifold that was given to me that I will eventually throw on as well.
