Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Thanks Baclay9. Going with a 4.5/6 drop with spindles, coils, flip kit and C notch. Still up in the air about wheels. Thinking steelies or Team 3 5 stars. Decisions decisions.

Before it was lowered I didn't care for the wheels, but now I really like them!

Hey MDc10 The stance on your truck looks sweet and the color is nice to what did you do to lower the front.

The front has 3" springs and 2.5" spindles, and a flip on the rear. The backs not as low as I hoped so im gona throw a hanger on to get 2 more inches.

That's my next project, paint and body. Need to replace the front fender and do a ton of body work. From your pics you paint looks pretty clean I like your colors too. Don't look like you need much

its got a 350 out of a 96 caprice with stock tranny, runs great!
gonna actually take the step side off and put a fleetside bed on it and then lower it 5/6, i know a lot of people like the stepside and its rare but just not for me.

Did you use an aftermarket wireing harness or rework the caprice harness. I was thinking about a LT1 swap myself but the computer **** scared me off. What did you do about the fuel pump?

me and my stepfathers old 78'. looking far from the way it did the day we sold it back in 01'. (looks way worse now) stepside truck.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Well heres the new engine....like I said, not much to look at now. I'll bling it up a little next spring. Need to switch over to a posi and lower gear. Right now it will blister the right rear tire. Suppose to be putting out about 330 hp, but with the 3:08 gear it sure doesn't feel like it.
