Hey Jerden, Do you have a pic of your blazer with the hood closed. I'd like to see how you did the paint. I like the black with the silver blue. Good lookin blazer. Jason

4 by, I'd say mid range on scale, but folks call it "Barney" purple.
Not many purple ones out there.

It looks good. Sounds like the same as the purple on a 68 chevy cab i started to use as a mud truck. I just bought a buddies 70 blazer mud truck and i need to repaint it. It's yellow which i'm not that fond of. I'm considering purple or red. Do you have a pic that shows the color better? Thanks, Jason

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

I can't take credit for the paint the PO did it right before I bought it. I'll try to grab a picture of it tonight. Basically the hood is all flat black with blue metallic on the nose.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Ya, one ton springs in the front with blocks in the back, done in 1972. The original owner used it as his hunting rig. The year he bought the Jimmy he put the Warn bumper and winch on and added the lift.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Cool, they worked. I have trouble with pic's sometimes. It has a rebuilt 454, TH 400 trans, the 205 transfer case, a 14 bolt floating rear axle and a dana 44 front but with 8 lug brakes like the rear. 4.10 diff's but only 33 inch tires. I have the room though and was thinking of going to 35 inch when I replace them, which will be soon, since the cost is almost the same.

What lift do you have? It looks really good. I think we all want more engine pics.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Nice looking Blazer Frostie. Clean and simple looking. Is that black primer or actual paint. I know they have paint now that simulates the flat black look but actually seals the metal.

Also post some info and more pics of your console. That's pretty trick looking.

What seats are those and how did you mount them?

Later

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

its a sealed epoxy. kinda a real paint. here are a few more pics...
its a floating console with a usb, av jack, 12v and 110v all under the front hidden.

seats are out of a 2005 GTO. We just welded in some tabs and square bar. fairly easy.
