Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66

Thank you! No I haven't done much to it. It was super cold here for a few weeks and my shop heater wasn't working. I ended up spending a week hanging new lights in my shop and putting in another heater. I just finished all that last weekend and started rebuilding my vent windows but I have to paint the frames before I finish those. I may put my motor in trans in tonight but it's been snowing like hell all day so it all depends if my brother Inlaw can make it over to help me. Two of my daughters are flying in tomorrow for Xmas so I doubt I will get much done until they leave on the 31st. But after all that I should be clear to get back on it full time and get this thing finished... I hope!

Damn! What motor is that? Will the hood fit? Either way it's cool I'm just curious about the hood.

AH....unless you meant "bagged in rear" only. Then I withdraw my dumb question....

Yeah pretty sure he meant rear because he said he hasn't tackled the torsion bars yet and I've never heard of rear torsion bars.

Yea i meant rear only! Sorry for confusion!! I am thinking of putting a 73-87 front crossmember up front? Unless anybody has any ideas on keeping torsion bars and bagging front??

Parked next to this at lunch today. When I came out the big guy was shaking, I think Toad was picking on him.

The front isn't as hard as I origionally believed. I boxed/plated my lower control arms with some 3/16 plate I had laying around, added a couple 1/4 gussets. I also "pancaked" my crossmember. I haven't gotten around to doing the steering yet, but doesn't look too complicated. Send me a pm if you have any questions. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures

That's a killer shot! Your truck looks great too. Do you drive at that height?

Nope, in 3 weeks I'm dropping a 400 sbc into it, I'll run the exhaust up through the crossmember, then I can run it at this height, real slow.
