cant wait to see this finished as i've said before somewhere 62 is my favorite year of chevy truck has a little sentimental thing to it ya know keep up the good work and ill lay off all the red x's

Yeah i cant wait either but when you have too many irons in the fire at once so to speak it makes it a bit tough

Wouldn't it need to be out of a 99 or later? since the 5.3 debuted on the 99 silverado. Let me guess you have a line on a smoking deal?

I hope.. just wonder what a throttle body is going to cost me

Need a few sensors and some bolts, with there was a salvage around like pullapart that had these and not ones that just sold complete.

I dusted off the ole 62 the other day and now i got the itch to do some stuff to it... may have a lead on a 5.3 and trans, wiring and all and that willl kick the motivation into over drive!!
