Decent buy-in for what appears to a fairly solid, original truck. 327/TH400/spd warning originally a med blue poly truck. |

I like this truck- there’s a similar one parked near my work that I keep threatening to stop and knock on the house door about. Dig the clearance lights too. I don’t notice them often on 1/2 tons.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
Hello neighbor! I am in Dumfries and have a 72 GMC C15 longbed - I am looking for a decent longbed for replacing my rusty one. Just wondering if you may know anyone who has one to get rid of. Does not have to be perfect just better than my rusty mess. I may also be looking for a complete cab roof. I still have to assess the driprail rust

I find the descriptions immaculately (ha) confusing out in the ether, and here on the board. I see this part is "mint" so often in the descriptions. I guess my version of mint, brand spanking new vs mint with a coffee cup stain etc etc. Just an observation worth two cents max =)

Killer truck and a great price that shouldn't last long. My first truck was a 70 CST. That truck looks super nice

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
I agree, this is a nice truck. Reminds me of an old friend..
Last pic is what ol Bessy looked like when it showed up (the other side wasn't as pretty), but it does show what minimal elbow grease can accomplish - truck was only painted in spots as needed, rest was buffed out. Truly wish I'd kept this truck, I had well under $5K wrapped up in it, including purchase price. It was a stealth Cheyenne Super because the Custom Camper nameplate superseded the Cheyenne Super badges if ordered together in 71 only. Last edited by jocko; 02-23-2021 at 06:14 PM. |
