Today that would be a 93 Chevy pickup, that doesn't seem very old to me now!
Agreed. It's funny that we have to do the math rather than relying on a sense of time.

My newest personal vehicle is a '99 Suburban which is definitely old for a New England daily driver.

That fleet of yellow truck looks cool. For some reason I seem to find a lot more great pictures from the western states.

That's great. So looking back, was it really that important to make it to work that day?

I have lowered myself big time. For the last 20+ years I drove a 65 Skylark, a 95 Ford SHO, 59 Rambler and my 65 Gran Sport conv. Now, I am driving an 03 Caravan.

I just recently bought my wife a 16 Subraru, the newest car I have ever owned.

I love that stock car picture. The northeast used to be full of short tracks and a guy could spend almost every night of the week racing.

Re the pic of the TF over the side

Hopefully driver was able to swim to other side (unless that's the LA river and then should a climbed out of the right to avoid certain death from toxic water.

lol... Don't worry, no drivers were harmed in the making of this image. Although toxic water was definitely an issue...

Truck can be seen at 5:14

This should give you a chuckle. Optimistic view of the automobile's future from 1956.

One of the only two trucks I have ever have seen that were chopped before mine in 1974. These trucks got very little love. I have the Rod and Custom magazine with that truck in it, along with the Dream Truck.

Those two meant a lot to me, they were the drive that made me chop mine!
