Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Put new wiper arms and blade assemblies on The Tan, Saturday.
The spindle in front of the driver was really bent, causing the geometry and pressure of that blade to be way off. Started to use pliers to bend it back - but chickened out. Ended up using a socket and a 1/2 inch drive ratchet to put over the drive head and coax it back to a normal attitude. It'll be nice to be able to drive in the rain again.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Once you finish up on the easy engineering and fabricating of the prototype, you’re just one step away from mass producing the bolt in kit for the rest of us with limited talent!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I tried to get my list together and price everything I would need to get it converted to a auto.
Thought about it then posted the truck on ebay. I love the truck but if a member of the family is unable physically to drive it then we need to get something with a auto. Last edited by ssincity; 01-04-2010 at 11:33 PM. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I didn't do anything to the 64 today, but I did get robbed at 4 this morning. someone broke into my truck and stole my stereo stuff. I think they tried to still the truck because the ignition was jacked up.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
yeah it sucks, they didn't steal the truck but I think they might have tried. I couldn't get the key to turn for like 5 minutes. do yall know if the alarm systems kill the ignition? They stole our phone records and my wife was getting text messages from someone from houston sending her nude pics and perverted.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
picked up the motor from my buddies last night - had a few xmas goodies from the OL lady and she talked me into having someone help to get the project moving along since ive got plenty left to do (470lift stick, springs, double roller, new intake and hei dizzy) cool little surprise was to see it is actuallya 4bolt, so maybe the PO wasnt bullsh1tting about it being from a vette donor - who knows
Will be painting her and bolting the beauty parts on this weekend and hopefully finishing battery relocation and getting started on wiring |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Installed a seat cover, replaced all 4 shocks on the 64, found and fixed a vacuum leak, took it for a joyride around the block, bounce free! These 305 v6's have some GUTS!
