Re: post up your camping pics
think someone forgot to tell mother nature it's spring already....snowing on the mountaintops
dont bother Diesel though, but his age is really starting to catch up with him. lost this trout, and his failed attempt on the geese, by the time he got over there they just took off and flew around him. the crew camouflages in not too bad... |

Re: post up your camping pics
after our little hike, talked the wife and son into going for a drive up the fraser canyon. instead of the usual puppy p break at Hunter creek, we took this road down to where Hunter meets the Fraser river
coming at ya! lower Hunter creek, and where it runs into the Fraser and dawg had a 20 pound-ish salmon wiggle out of his grasp... |

Re: post up your camping pics
just past Hunter come across this guy. think he was going faster than the posted speed on the off-ramp, he kissed the light standard pretty good- too bad, chinook unit that looked in real nice orig shape...
around the town of Hope. it's one claim to fame, where Rambo First Blood was filmed in the early 80's and heading up the canyon |

Re: post up your camping pics
not a bad spot to spend the afternoon, just have to keep dawg away from the rapids
finally got a pic of wifey on the way home despite her repeated threats of "get away from me with that thing" and cleared up enough when we got back to see fresh snow on the north side mountains |

went riding around Klowa mountain today, just north of Nahatlatch valley.
stopped at the McDick's in Hope for big macs and q p's. dont think dawg was crazy about the big mac.....we have a critic... had to wait about 1/2 an hour for construction in the canyon Fraser has come up 'bout 6-8 feet the old, "retired" aerial car ferry in Boston Bar |

Re: post up your camping pics
road is not the greatest....'specially for a 21 ft long crewcab...with a 17 ft trailer...
and the only place big enough (and only place at all...) to get turned around is down this hill... and there she be, can just make out the box....gonna haft to lift the trailer higher this yr...ramp racks scraped a bit goin' down and with this stupid rock strategically placed, just enough room for a 38 point u-turn getting around it and back up the hill... |
