My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

The interior and passenger door look good.
Are you doing some sort of forced ageing process on the exterior body paint because recent past shots show new paint but the most recent show a very dilapidated paint, I'm confused.

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

Ok I messed around with the truck a bit today. Got the passenger door panel on with the help of these square plastic clips from the auto parts store. All the metal factory ones either had bolts broke off in them or they were already missing. new black lock/unlock caps. Oh and a nice forced aging teaser pic for you!!

That truck has come a long way. It is unique and personalized, but has mass appeal.

Nice job, the truck definitely looks good. The roof replacement definitely would have had me looking for another cab...lol.

No acid on this one. I'll do a write up on it soon but basically its paint with iron in it and I sprayed it on and then I sprayed a patina over it. It takes a few days to work but the patina turns the iron paint to rust! Its looks awesome!
