Re: Die-cast 67-72

I found 2 at our local Fred Meyers, if that helps you. However that is all that I have been able to find so far. You could check the K-Marts, because they had this truck in their K-Mart Days cases. So there might be a few hanging on the pegs. WES

I don't think it's painted, probably had the paint stripped as a custom. Someone was selling them on ebay a while back.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I finally found two Boondockers at ToysRUs today. It was extremely hard not buying them off of ebay when they first came out. It is much funner finding them on the pegs.

My wife found the single blue with flames the other day. Now I have to get rid of the ten pack and three two packs that I bought because I couldn't wait for the singles to hit the pegs.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Hey I just joined the site. My name is James and in a nut for the 67-72 Chevys and GMCs. I have been collecting the models (and the life size ones) of them for 20 years and now I have about 2000 model kits. Sorry not dicast but the plastic model kits that a few of you have been talking about from AMT/ERTLE of the 67-72 trucks and blazers.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Hi James.First of all welcome to the site from another long time real and replica 67/72 nut.I hate to have to tell you this, but the site rules state that you must be a subcribing member to sell on the site. You`re not the first or last not to read that in the agreement to log on.I had to edit out the last little bit of your post to keep things straight.
I have a pretty good collection of these trucks in kits`too. There are a few I still need. For one,the original Open Road Camper kit.I missed the "Jimbo" Jimmy kit on Ebay when power went out from a wind storm. Can you post some pictures of what you have?I dug mine out and put them on a shelf.I`m wanting to sell my kits that aren`t GM trucks.I have some from the early`80s,mostly muscle car and hot rod.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Sorry bout that. So if im understanding it right I can list things if I do the $25.00 member suporter thing? Not realy doing it to make money but to give fellow 67-72 nuts like myself the chance to be able to build a model or models of our trucks. The ones I was talking about in my collection were resin recast that I make. I wont be letting go of my originals but I make recast of all 6 years and a short bed fleet side with a corrected frame that has more detail. I am also in the process of casting both the long bed and short bed step side. I have thought about casting the wedge and the camper but the molds get to expensive and I need to stop the model thing for a little bit so I can get back to my full size 1969.

Again sorry and I hope I didnt offend anyone buy posting that. I will be doing the member support thing as soon as I get a chance this weekend.

About the rules. It`s more to help protect against scammers hopping on and running.Don`t feel accused, but that`s the deal. You need to pay the $25 to become a supporter to list For Sale,Want To Buy,and What`s It Worth requests. It wasn`t always this way. But,a few bad apples...

That`s really cool that you cast those pieces.I have a few`72 GMC Fenderside kits and would like to build one with the Wideside/Fleetside bed.

I`m waiting for this one right now.I won it from that guy in France,of all places...
