Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

This is the look I am after. This is perfect and I feel it would really set the GMC off right here.

Does anyone know which wheel this is? It's on the Budnik website, .. I mean which style?

Polished Muroc III Maybe?

I'd prefer the c5's to these and bet they'd be almost 1/2 price if you catch the c5's on sale...

I like the muroc/blvd look. C5s are nice, but not right for this truck. My .02

MUCH less

And not nearly as deep of shine but to me it fits the truck without being too blingy....and with it parked outside and driven you won't go crazy worrying about damaging high dollar billets....

They make 20x8.5 and 20x10 sizes in offsets that work well for our trucks too...............................

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

I would do the Budniks as they will set the truck off. Although they maybe a little spendy they are worth it. I just put on new Bonspeeds and the quality is shown in the finish. I'm sure Budniks are the same from what I have seen.

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

Just some slight updates..

I had a leak in the flush kit on my toilet in the upstairs bathroom and somehow got roped into a complete gut and remodel of the bathroom. Tiles, paint, new vanity, countertop, sink, fixtures, etc. you get the idea. I haven't had much time to work on the old trucks.

I do have the bed inner fenders and the front panel ready to spray base. I am waiting on access to my brother in laws paint booth to do it (and some decent weather) I'm going to put shopline in the bed with DCC 2021 clear. I want them to be nice, but not overpower the truck.. but I'm afraid the bed will look nicer than the truck now.

Dad also picked up my bed wood yesterday. there is a lumber mill here in Chattanooga and we have access to a planer, table saw, and all the measurements from GMC Pauls. I'm going to cut the wood and just clear varnish. This is Northern Read Oak. should turn out pretty cool. I have polished stainless strips to go back in, as well as bolts, etc. I bough them from Losh a couple months ago.

I like the 'Ram 5' too. I think I am going to step into the custom offset and get the wheels I really want.. even if it takes me till spring time.
