Re: Project: Turbo 250

Hey, Adam! I was wondering about you the other day. I really like your interior!! Also, I am really excited for you to get your doctorate. I know all the schooling has been a tremendous undertaking, and I am so happy to see that you will end it soon with success!

Thanks a lot! It has been a huge undertaking! But 8 more weeks in a clinical rotation 2 exams then it's Dr. Longbed as Mike Losh would say! And with full time work means better builds will come in the future!

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Thanks guys! Ya'll know how to keep a guy motivated!

Well work on the truck this weekend got put off for some serious beer brewing! A big thanks to my dad for finally getting installed an AGA approved quick disconnect gas line set up for our burner assemblies, and we brewed up 3 new beers... A Pale Ale, An Orange Honey Weiss, and A Dark Cherry Stout! Also got some Apple Jack cooked down so there is plenty of things to drink if anyone wants to come help get my truck wrapped up some weekend

Thanks guys! It is actually a 30% tint the maximum legal tint in Wisconsin. It is actually the same tint as some of the brand new Impala's come with, at least that's what mine has from GM

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Finished up the upholstery behind the seat got it all carpeted and finished up the wiring for the sound system. It sounds great pumps out lots of quality sound and picks up stations from well over 100 miles away in an underground garage that has 10" of concrete on all sides!

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Well unfortunately being in medical school at $34,000 per year I am not that endowed with big budgets to buy the best of everything but I got the CST280 it will do carbon steel but not aluminum. I also have the stick attachments for it which is nice for that rare occasion that I also have to weld cast iron. I also have a Miller mig... when I'm done I will get a better unit that has ac and dc capabilities so I can do both!

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Well wrapped up the rear sway bar and got everything tightened down. Finished up the ground cables and the remote battery disconnect under the hood. And got the rest of my tig welding stuff in, called mandrel bending solutions and my pipe should be in by the end of the week so Hopefullly next week I will have the exhaust done! Which means I should be able to fire up the beast for the first time in the next month here so long as the weather cooperates and the salt gets washed off of the roads!
