Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Rob, where do you get a 3.5" dropped spring and how does it ride up front?

ECE 4.5"/6" drop on my Blazer.

Steve - I cut a half of a coil off of the front springs. The ride stayed about the same.

A half coil off of a 2" or 3" dropped spring? My Blazer has too much wheel gap for me, but I am trying to stay away from bags on this one.

I think it was actually 3/4s of a coil off of a 2" drop spring. I believe cutting 1/2 of a coil produces a 1" drop. I would start there and adjust as necessary.

Smile Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

My static drop is complete however need some advice. It's a ccp 5"rear springs, 2" modular spindles with 2" drop springs. The truck has 15x10 4"backspace wheels all the way around. I don't have much clearance up front for steering travel the wheels rub the lower control arms when turning..What are some of the wheel dimensions you all would recommend, I want to stay with 15" wheels.
Thanks in advance

rc, truck looks real good. I assume those are Ridlers? Do you have the '67 rear end with 5-lug axles or a '71-72?

Thanks, yes they're Ridler's. And to be honest I'm not sure what rear axle it has. There is probably only .25" clearance between the rear wheel and the inner side of the wheel tub. It's about as tight as it possibly could be without rubbing.

Looking at purchasing these wheels to put on my 1968 c10 stepside with the ECE 4.5/6 drop. Will they fit? Its alright if I have to buy new tires for them to fit.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Three up front, 5 in the rear. CPP shocks and springs only so far. The green wheels were just to see how it would look. I'm about to switch them out with some BBS CH-Rs I had on another car.
