I pulled the truck outside today. It was warm today (50 degrees) so I pulled it outside and cleaned the shop out.It needed cleaned.I can actually walk through it now.I got the thermostat installed today.I need to get some bolts and then the inner fenders can go on.I also got my 72 blazer running.I also bought a late 70s Chevy with a 454 for my 79 4wd for $150...

Re: Project: "Junkyard Resurrection"
It sure has. I went back to the beginning of the thread the other day and looked at it from the beginning. You'd never know that it was the same truck. It's sure coming together nicely. ...Joe

Re: Project: "Junkyard Resurrection"
No real progress lately.I've been messing with the truck with the 454 in it and had to do some work to my 4-wheeler.I did buy new seat covers for the bucket seats for it though.I got the carpet in,and some other misc. stuff for it.

Re: Project: "Junkyard Resurrection"
I've been busy putting a 454 into my 79 4wd so the 71 has been on the backburner.

Re: Project: "Junkyard Resurrection"
Still gathering parts. My motor blew up in the Blazer so I had to bring it in,yank out the old motor and build one for it.I'm almost done with it.I should be putting the motor back in it in 1-2 weeks.
