Thats the plan for many years, even when I had the Jimmy and collecting parts , 68 clip, cowl hood, lower mouldings too!!!

I bought my front and rear setup years ago from Revolution brake in Oregon. Spent way too much, BUT!!!

They are called Mr Parkers, single piston lever action that will operate off cables. Cool?? but considering the other options when I had them built they were the only option.

gringoloco...crazy thing,I think that might be my old Blazer!! If it is I was working at a Ford dealer back in the late 90s and someone traded in a 72 blazer,a blue and white 4x4,I remember they gave them $200 for it and I got it for $100 over invoice $300,I tracked down a 2 wheel drive crossmember and a set of rally wheels from a local and stripped down to the raw metal and painted it a yellow that resembled and original color for that year without the green tint in it,it didnt have a back window in it when I got it,I made one out of plywood and sprayed a texture on it to get it close to the roof,I think I recognize the plastic chrome side mirrors too??

I think you may be right. Painted grey inside w/ a tweed bench seat and matching tweed tonneau? I recognize the body-colored outside handles, too. I got the truck from a guy in Austin who said he bought it out of Cali. Sure looks like the same truck. Small world...

I dug up a couple of more photos,I did the resto on it before digital cameras,I just scanned these. Back in around 2002 I did some work for a guy and in trade he put it out on EBAY for me,it sold to a guy in Northern California and I bet from there it went to Austin,I believe it was probably originally bought here in San Diego.When I got it was blue with a white roof but originally close to that yellow,you can see from that photo.I regret selling that one too,it was a great beach cruiser.The grey tweed bench I had done locally and the rest of the tweed was my handy work. It nice to see it was so well taken care of for so many years..

Updates!!!!!! Just buying more stuff. Put the body back on, but its going to come of again. Finally got all the peices in order from Porterbuilt, new engine mount was the biggest setback. Now I have no time for it as I have a LS9 to put into a 57 Belaire with a new Scott's Hot Rods frame

Oh, then there is a little orange Bug that is going to get a bit of love too, full Mendeola suspension, Porsche brakes, 18" Turbo twists sometime before June, when we are going to take it down to the "Classic" in Los Angeles for the show!!!!

Chris, In that first picture of the bare body, notice all the filler, those are some of the issues I was talking about a few posts back.. Other side is probably the same sort of deal!!!

Nothing really to update!!!!! Some how I got involved with building a 57 Chev Belair.. Cool project, Scotts Hot Rods full frame, 14" brakes, LS9 and all the other goodies that go along with a over the top car……….. Someday I will continue on the Blazer
