Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot
Who do I have to contact to send stuff? I decided if it's needed, to donate the following:
Dash harness Engine harness Tail light harness Intermediate harness Heater box fan to body rubber gasket Fuel fill pipe grommet The stuff is either new never used, or was installed but like new. It's all for 67-68 fleet pickup. Let me know. Chris

Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot
Hi guys. I haven't been on this site too long, but I want to say that I got my whole family together a couple of weeks ago and we read every page on every thread about this lady's situation together because my kids are young, (2-girls, 13 & 14, and my boy is 10). I used the generosity, unselfishness, and genuine care y'all have all shown for Dawn and her family as an example of the kinds of roll models I want them to strive to be. I am lucky enough to own one of these trucks even though my dad was killed when I was my son's age and he never got the chance to teach me much about how to work on it. Reading through the threads here has already taught me alot. We don't have much, but as a family, we all wanted to do something to help. I contacted Dawn's daughters and I sent a Home Depot gift card to them that I got from my boss as a Christmas Bonus. I know she's still struggling with repairs to her home so I figured since y'all are working so hard on her truck, maybe we could help out a little in some way after all. You folks are great!! If work picks up soon, I hope to become a site supporter!

Wow! I hadn't realized how long it had been since this thread was posted in. I seems everyone that has taken an active part or contributed to the project has been using the Underhaulin thread. For those of you that may be new to the board, take time to read this thread and maybe help be part of something great.

Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot
wow. this is amazing. i'm new on here and i knew this was a great site....but i had no idea! i saw this link on the build page, and i just read all 22 pages...the last 6 were getting pretty blurry. i'm touched, and i'll become a payed up member soon. this is a shining example of what people can do for each other when the need arises. you all are good people and can be proud of what you have done. as somebody who is nearly 45 and has a 5 year old grandson who i treasure i can only imagine. anyways, thanks. you all made my day.
