Thanks for the welcome. I had to track down some original front seats, the rear seat, and the center console. I'm planning on a restomod style rebuild with a 383, throttle body injection for drivability and meeting emissions, new springs for about 3" lift, rebuild on the drive train components, and a nice interior.

My daughter laid claim to it before my son had the chance, so when I kick the bucket she will get a nice Blazer. My son has a '66 Mustang so I don't feel tooo bad about it.

Off she went to her new owner in North Carolina on Saturday. I think you'll be seeing more of her since the new owner was already a member here before purchase. Here are the pics the morning of sale. I couldn't resist putting a fresh coat of Collinite Insulator Wax 845 on her before her journey.

Took the top off for the first time since we bought it last year. The kids love it....not so sure about the wife.

The kids sure don't want it to go back on. Just to clarify, my wife is behind the camera....too dignified to act so.... odd as the rest of us!

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

Here's my 6 cylinder Blazer. So far I have resisted the urge to convert it to 2WD or restore it. It looks good but it's not perfect, so I don't worry when my kids jump over the side with their bookbags.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

I know it's a terrible picture, but this is the Jimmy my dad bought me when I was 13. I cant remember what year it was. We ended up selling it to a buddy of my dads a few years later. I regret getting rid of this thing more than anything else. I hope to try to get it back if he still has it.

Thumbs down Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

Does this count?

Here is my 72 4wd convert. I would LOVE a true 2 but I'm OK with my hybrid. The conversion (rear X, trailing arms, shock relocation, front x w/ ECE arms, etc.) was done right and set it up for bags. The specs on the measurement are perfect!! I bought the baby as is...static. It's unfortunate the previous owner lost intetes, after all the hours he put into it, but it did lan in the right hands!!

I'm going to add my own touch: air/ notch (TBD), shave everything, touring suspension, top/ body & paint, interior LASTLY LS (TBD) conversion!
