Does it fill fast? Is that radiator hose with the bend in it?

Yes...it is. with the bend...the other is gas hose to the tank...you will have to
find a adapter for the two hose sizes...Tim

Re: Show us you're seats

Finally got my seats wrapped up. Thought they were a great score in the junkyard but turned out to be Mopar seats and badly corroded. Managed to find 1 GM bucket seat frame on Craigslist, but had to build a duplicate. Then had to modify the Mopar base to make them fit proper. All in all it would’ve been easier and potentially cheaper to just drop the cash on some Chevy Buddy buckets but wheres the fun in that?

As found

And those seats turned to dust but kept the base and center console. Started the rebuild

Before springs were added. Made so both can flip forward and have super high tech bolts for adjustment.

And then some new $$$$ foam and had Rick’s Upholstery in TN make up some covers with material from SMS. They did a heck of a job and were great to work with. Wanted to have the seats look sorta stock so used 1965 GMC upholstery for inserts. Had the center console and frame powdercoated gloss black because I got lazy and didn’t want to paint them.

I just restored my original bench. I had several broken springs and a shoddy 80/'s recover with crushed velour.

I wanted Buddy Buckets but funds said no! I used 2005 Silverado seats with belts.

Re: Show us you're seats

Has anyone used Strato-bench seats from '67 (ish) full size GM cars like the Impala, Caprice, Rivera, and Eldorado? I've been searching the forum and the web broadly and haven't come across a picture of a C10 using one of these.

Re: Show us you're seats

Picked these up from a guy who pulled them out of his Model A hot rod truck. He thought they were re-covered Fiero seats. I know they are comfy!

Mine are Fiero with inexpensive Iggie seat covers and a Buddy center seat.

Here's some seats I just installed. They are really comfortable compared to the old original bench seat.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Those seats are from shopforseats.com Low back American Classics. Nice seats but it took over 2 months to get them.
