I like them both, very nice builds, may just like the fleetside a bit more.

I like them both too! But the red one is not street legal , no mirrors, and the red one looks like it would through rocks and gravel all over itself with no rear flairs.

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
Believe me with those tires (boggers) the front will throw rocks, mirrors are easy. Not a great street tire but sure works in the eye candy department doesn't it.

That firetruck is amazingly clean, as mentioned low miles. Beauty.

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
I agree with you on a later post 61 forestry 4x4, 16's would be better. I bought my damn near bone stock '64 C20 stepside with later 8 lug rims that has toyo open country AT's on them. I wish I had a picture to post but right now I'm on deployment so yeah, not the time I can upload pic in the middle of an ocean. 66Gilbert, I sent you an email similar to 61 Forestry 4x4 and didn't follow on until it was too late looking at his post about that longbed that you posted first on.

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
Thanks 63-C10, much appriciated. I saw a number of these on trucks on CL and such. mine is still intact minus the upper plate on the hitch plate. the original owner made it into a stretched tongue. I'll try to get pictures of it up on my profile as soon as aI'm able.
