Mine just barely lined up. The hole would be the right size if they put them in the right spot. Mine were the black metal panels from LMC.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Been collecting parts... STILL waiting for my air bags and CPP brakes to arrive. Brutal. Got my GMC emblems installed, and got all the side trim cleaned up and repainted. I might install it this week. I bought all my 4 guage battery cable for the compressors, 80amp fuse block, continuous duty soliniod to control the compressor power. I made up some cables tonight with the 4 guage and copper ring terminals from the battery to the fuse and made a new 4 guage ground strap to go from the battery to ground. Just been slowly plugging away at it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Pulled the upper steering column apart to determine why shifter is sloppy. Didn't find anything obviously wrong with it other than needed a good cleaning and lubrication. Now I can pull the shifter inward, but it still moves from park to drive without any stops. Now to dismantle, inspect and lubricate the lower section and linkage.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Did nothing on my truck today, but ordered a Comp cam 270H for my 454 to go with the Rpm intake and roller rockers I just got. Might as well go all out when it is apart and port the 781 cyl heads too while I am in there, work and more work. Ported 1 of a set of Dart Iron Eagle New cyl. heads today and reassembled, one more to go.

I'm out in Cali for work and was looking forward to some nice weather that's been going on lately. Nope, got wet and cold today in the bay area. Back in Roseville now. Still cold.

Thanx ! I rarely have time to watch videos , this one was good as it shows others what to do .

Didja clean and re lube the threaded adjuster with LubriPlate ? .

They have simple brake spring tools that would have eased / speeded up the job greatly .

On those full floater axles , my Son got me to try Permatex " The Right Stuff "
and now I no longer use the gaskets atall , never even have any seeps much less leaks ~ give it a try next time .

I tried to post a comment on your youtube but can't .

Eagle Alloy #118's, 15X10's I got em for a steal and haven't seen another set on our trucks so they have kind of grown on me. I am looking for a set of 15X8's for the front but so far no luck.
