And looked at this 96 7.3 with 142k miles the truck is exceptionally clean some minor paint blemishes and the hood has a bow in it . No rot original paint 2wd has a fifth wheel mounting plate in the bed the bed doesn’t have a dent , seriously considering calling on it

Spent 5 hours at the urgent care. Lots of queue time. I felt like I'd been knee-capped. Nope, just Uncle Arthur(itis) moving into my knees. Starting off with pills, and working up to ?

Started cutting down my Austree.

My advice is don't plant one. I started this one by poking a hole in the ground and sticking a cut off branch in the hole. Then poked a bunch of holes all the way around it and kept pouring water in the holes to keep the ground saturated.
That thing grew like crazy and made a beautiful tree for about 8 years, then it started deteriorating. It only took about 2 years until the trunk split down the middle and it started rotting in the center. Time to cut it down before it falls into the farmers field after he gets his crops in.....

The last picture is my trusty old Homelite 20" Super XL, that I bought new, I think in 1982 or 83. I still starts and runs great I wish I could say that for the MAC 110. My father in law bought it new but I don't know the year. It starts great first thing in the morning but once you shut it off or it runs out of fuel it will not start again until the next morning. I have threatened to take the 3# maul to it a few times but it sure is handy when it starts....

She does get some people doing a double take. She calls it Sunday, 'cause that's the day she takes it for a drive. Her daily driver is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with 32" tires.

I understand. When I drive my wife's X7 BMW people look at me like I've stolen it. Long haired tattooed biker driving that? I actually bought it for her. I am allowed to take it to the gas station, or drive on a long trip.

What was that blue blur?

My mother-in-law on her way to church.

Nice looking car, and good for her!

She talks about a Jaguar XKE she had before my wife was born. She was driving a VW Beetle when I met my Wife 46 years ago.

She wishes it had the manual transmission. She wanted a mid engine C8 but didn't want to get on a waiting list. She traded in a 2000 'Vette on this one 2 years ago. (That's her Jeep in the background.)

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

built me a little lightweight cart out of scrap stuff for Carlisle basically the framework from a retired bullet heater like the one sitting behind it in the pics. Worked out pretty good for an hours work. I took a 4 wheeled cart last year and it was a pain in the ass

That is a Great Idea.

I have some (Similar) stuff saved up.

I often have the thought of selling these in my Swap meet Booth.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Slightly overloaded my trailer log calculator figured 3400 + for each log . And of course there was a tree blocking the road home so I had chainsaws and the guy in front of me had a mini excavator. Had it off the road before the troopers showed up . I of course cut it up and threw it into the bed . Might as well go all the way
