Hey guys, new to this site but seen a bunch of great trucks here and I figured I would add mine! '77 short step, in progress for a complete restoration. These are some of the before pics.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Here is a few of my short beds. I have had a K5 and several long beds. The silver one is my current project. Wish that I had the red and back ones back

I have to like this truck because I have the same year and color but think yours looks better without the bed rails mine has fitted.Your wheels look nicer too. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Here's a picture of my truck back when I first got it about 4 years ago. Just bought a cab to replace all the unseen rust on this one. Hopefully going to get it swapped sometime this year.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Thanks! It looks good but don't let her fool you! The inner fenders are rotten and the rocker panels and cab corners are pretty much non existent on both sides. This picture was taken about 4 or 5 years ago so it did get progressively worse. It's all good though because the cab I picked up while I was out in Colorado has almost no rust and I only paid $300 for it.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Ya know you can get your inner fenderwells at a good price, 49.95 ea thru LMC Trucks,
I've gotten lots of stuff from them just don't know about your custom rates these days. |
