Smoke Dog - a trailer would be nice but then I should have bought a Chevelle. Besides I convinced my wife I needed this truck for work and she's the one who controls the lady parts...

Here's my '82 my friends call "Show Plow" because I did a frame off on my snow plow truck. Yeah the plow needs some work too.

That truck would be worth a small amount over crush value actually. One door and one bedside and a tailgate (maybe) is left for useable sheet metal, the rest would have to be in mint interior pieces.

Bondobob, that's a good looking plow truck, and I like the GLI too! I sell VWs and I just happened to take one to lunch today that looks exactly like that.

Lol! I don't know if you remember it buys it's the ol stepper with the 502. Front lays crossmember and back isn't done yet. Bagged on leafs but going with a 4 link next month..

New guy here...mine's an 84 stepper..just had a new motor put in (mildly built .30 over 350 w vortec heads) rebuilt the 700r4 with a shift kit an stall converter, and put a set of .373's w an auburn posi unit in it. paint coming soon.

I love it. the .373's really woke the truck up. and with the 700r4 i can still cruise at highway speeds. I haven't figured the mileage yet, but i'd say i'm in the 10-12mpg range right now. im still in the break in stage of the engine and we've got the carb tuned a tad on the rich side. i'll be leaning it out a tad in a week or so.

no, i had all the work done at Bad Ass Speed shop, a local shop, and they ordered all the parts for me.
