Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I didn't get much done... I ordered a pop up deck fill to keep working on that blazer tank install. I made a nice little posterboard template so I could make the mount for the filler, and dragged out some sheetmetal I found behind the shed... I was pleased it wasn't all rusty and nasty. Until I figured out why, its .125 Al. Guess I have a choice here. Pick up some sheet metal this week, or pick up a tig welder... The checkbook says sheet metal.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Grabbed half an hour and finished off removing the sticky gunk left behind on the side windows when I ripped the tints off, looks much better to me now and a hell of a lot easier to see out of. They seem to be slightly tinted glass anyway so Iguess thats how it left the factory. Hopefully this weekend I'll finally get the damn engine wiring harness apart so I casn fit the new one and refit the fusebox. The its getting close to fire up time.
We also got a shiney new digital SLR (Canon EOS 50D) today so some new pictures will be forthcoming sometime soon. It replaces my old canon film SLR as film and processing is getting way too expensive.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Spent my 10th wasted day/night aimlessly searching rural yards and junkyards trying to find a cab with only floor/cab corner/rocker issues but a good window frame and roof, why can't I live in Arizona?!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Finally got my alt and ps pump installed last night, had to grind on the hole on the water for the ps bracket but finally got it all installed and lined up fairly well. Only took 3 weeks to get it all sorted out and installed. What a pain.

Trying to finish sanding the inside of my cab so that I can primer and paint. Then comes the question for a color choice.

Bought new oil and filter, took it on it's second road trip (7mi.) since finishing rebuild. Runs great.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
if the storage shed owner is around I will get 67 out and see if the Stabil worked. I am also going to check dot manufacture yr date on tires. .... if they are too old they are going on a 68 Ford Custum 500 derby car.
life is interesting and good.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Drove out for a morning cruise, and got a nice breakfast.
Afterward cleaned up the oil mess my T221 has been making, tomorrow I plan to R&R the tail shaft seal.
