Re: 1969 Burb build-up (Bags, 5.3/4L60E, repaint, interior....)
Hart Rod I forgot all about Whiting. I have been to the museum, But it has been many years. My Grandmother lives not to far out of that back gate were the museum is. I do need to take my kids during one of the visits to Grannys house. My dad retired as Command Master Chief of NAS Cecil Field. He closed that one down, Pres. Clinton closed it, they are regretting doing that.
* Anyway I have posted a couple of picture of my 72' burb of the board. It is my next project. I should be starting it the first of April. I have most of the patch panels for it. I like your engine choice. The thing is looking great. I want to have it done by Thanksgiving, for the turkey rod run in Daytona, Fl..

Here's some better pictures of the rear buddy bucket configuration. I think I'm going to like it much better than the 2 rear benches.

Here's some better pictures of the dual row of buddy buckets. I also picked up an auxillary battery box today from PETEM1957, .

Wait! Did I miss something? Are you starting work on another burb, or are you just using another burb to mock the seats up?

, I bought a parts burb that I have been stripping. I just threw the seats in to see how the dual row of buddy buckets were going to work. All I need to do is fab some mounts for the rear seats and then get them reupholstered.

I haven't mounted it yet, but it will probably be under the hood on one of the inner fenders.

Thanks!
I've tried to pull anything I'm not using off of the parts burb and stack it inside of yours. There's not much room left..........

Re: 1969 Burb build-up (Bags, 5.3/4L60E, repaint, interior....)
I just read your build and all I can say is you're doing a very amazing job! Great color choices as well!! This week I got a 5.3 and decided to drop it into a 68 suburban I have, I googled 5.3 and your build came up. I'm not sure if I missed it or if no one has asked, but what are you doing for engine management? Just wondering what I will need to pick up to get the engine running in my burb. Thanks in advance.
Joe
