Post #477 will answer your question about needing a spacer on the rear.

That's exactly what I'm saying about the front. That was a disappointment given how long we waited for the rims to be revised. However, the need for a rear spacer is nothing new. I'm surprised that anyone is still surprised by this. Simply looking at the offset should tell you that.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Here is some pics of the front issues. The rotor is only 2mm to big, but I agree that a grinder would fix the issue pretty easy. I haven't done mine yet, but I don't think that it will be a big deal. I wonder too who was in charge of re-designing these. Did they ever try one of these on a rotor? It would of been easy for them to machine 2mm more on the wheel but oh well, its done now. Has anyone noticed that there has been over 15,000 views of this thread? Pretty cool. Let me know if anyone else needs any pics of anything.

If you look a few pages back, you will see that black fronts are on back order.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

I finally got my wheels. I was really starting to stress without any tracking numbers and all that. You can get an immediate tracking number when you buy something off Ebay, so I thought that was a little strange. I ordered them on 4/10. Then when you order you were supposed to select Fed Ex for shipping, and then when they showed up they were on a UPS truck. Anyways they are beautiful!!!!!!! I'm glad I did it, thank you to the guys that did all this for us. Scott

Glad you got 'em. You might have noticed this isn't eBay and Sublvr72 had AEW drop-ship the wheels to all of us, so he really didn't have good access to tracking info, nor could he control which carrier was used. Hate to see people too worried -- the very worst case scenario is that you have to call your credit card company and tell them you didn't get your merchandise and they reverse the charge. Moot point now, but no need for anyone to worry.

The -3 revision? Last I heard the -3 revision in 20x8.5 chrome wasn't shipping yet. If you got the old -2 revision, that's really not news.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

I'm waiting on grey 20x8.5/20x10's in the group buy.

Just wondering if they are still shipping or if they ran out and need to produce more.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Just another update as a lot of you are starting to call me, PM me, and email me for updates-

Keep in mind that the orders are out of my hands and are being filled by eagle. The Southern California office is doing ALL the leg work on locating the rims across the country and shipping them from the closest warehouse that has them in stock. Aside from the 300 wheel orders I placed with them from this group buy they have thousands of customers as well that they need to take care of. I have one representative working with me to fill all the orders and he has to work with all of the 35+ nationwide warehouses to make sure they handle the orders properly. That includes calling them to make sure they have them in stock, inspecting the rims to make sure they are of good enough quality to ship, and following through to make sure they did ship the order and then updating me to let me know they went out.

It's a pretty lengthy process. I talked to eagle today and they shipped another 6 sets of rims out between yesterday and today. They have another 12 orders left to fill (out of about 65 orders) and ship. The problem with those orders is when the follow up with the warehouses that have them they are told that they either no longer have that inventory (it was sold before the order was filled) or that they are not in good enough condition to ship (damaged in the warehouse).

Believe me, they are working EXTREMELY hard to make sure that all of you guys are getting taken care of, and they will ship as soon as they can locate a set in stock and in good enough condition to ship out.

Did you order independently or through this group buy? Which wheels?
