The blue tape shows the area that was already ground.
Basically the lower edge is "cleaned up" and about 1" of the lip is removed from the front and rear side of the a-arm.

You will still need to check for clearance issues with the truck on the ground.
Also turn the wheels to the left and right and check for rubbing against the wheels.

Very Nice truck.. I was Reading Thru the new Goodguys Gazzete Mag. And there was a good pic of your truck in there from a goodguys show.. and also a green Blazer on torque thrusts .. and green Stepside on coys... Better Check it out!! Ibelieve its the feb 2011

Great looking truck. Congrats on the magazine coverage! I see you are running bags in the front. Do you have bags in the back also? What brand of air system controller are you running?

which Sanderson headrers did you get ? the SKU number is what im looking for, i also swaped to a BBC and am interested in the same headers you have. thanks in advance.

BTW... whatever happened to your dad's '83 SWB?

Also... did you notice a difference with the vacuum reservoir on the truck after mounting? My FIL is having issues with his '69; seems as though his motor (big cam) is robbing from his brakes.

Sold the 83, it needed too much stuff. The vacuum reservoir didn't improve the brakes much at all.
