Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

I met GK sport and got to see his truck in person last saturday after leaving YearOne .I was going down I-85 and stopped for gas at the first station on my side and there he was .I got my gas in the El Camino and then walked over and introduced myself to him. He was very nice and enjoyed meeting a fellow member of the board. I have now met 3 board members.

1968ratrod -- that truck is awesome. I'd throw on the fattest tires that would fit on those rims and drop it. That patina is perfect...I even like the mismatched mirrors

I had removed the box sides to start fixing the rust where they bolt to the bed floor and the bed floor's rust. We were in the process of cutting the cab up to haul it off for scrap steel. I had already picked up a used cab that required my vin. The last pic where the truck's in primer is the new used cab, doors and 68 frt clip. It's going to be a low budget big block powered shop truck built by my son and I.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

Not sure yet, too many projects right now. Just picked it up and a 69 stepper the same week and not sure what or when I will have time to do anything. I just hate to let one get away if I see it and its that clean.
