Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Thanks! Got the new engine and trans in it but slowed way down due to customer paint jobs and other side jobs but the next thing is to lower the back end to match the front and to get the engine running.

Good luck, around here there pretty much non-existent in the junk yards. I don't even think LMC sells them.

That looks like a nice compressor! Where did you score that bad boy? I need to upgrade mine too. Trying to sandblast with it is slow going.

Nice looking compressor. I bet that thing's as much of a ***** to unload as a liquid oxygen bottle. Them are some heavy sunsa *****es.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

yeah it was definitely fun to unload.. had an appliance dolly with a strap and lawn mower ramps and had a guy helping that weighed 300lb and when we got it to the middle of the ramp it about pulled both of us down.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Lucky for us, when my dad was running a big ass liquid oxygen bottle for his torch, when he needed to unload it, we had a backhoe in handy to do it the redneck way. Wrap a chain around the top of the bottle, then hook the chain to the bucket of the backhoe, and try to crank 'er up without hitting the side of the bed. Lmao. It's easier to move when the truck's a flatbed.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Well i got the interior pretty much gutted tonight and cleaned up all the mud and junk that was under the old nasty rubber floor. Found that the heater core had been leaking for a long time and rusted a hole in the passenger floor panel

Also put some 2" shackles on it trying to level it out a bit but its going to need about 2" more so i guess ill need to find some hangers.
